Máximo Quiles started racing motorbikes when he was just six years old in the Murcia Mini Speed Championship, making the leap to the national level in 2017 and winning his first titles in lower categories, as the minimoto Spanish Championship or the Cuna de Campeones championship.
After his passage through numerous national categories, in 2021 Máximo Quiles made the leap to the European Talent Cup at the age of 13. The rider from Murcia showed his talent and, after a great final stretch of the season where he got three consecutive victories (in addition to the two previous podiums), he became Champion in his debut year. In 2022, after a somewhat irregular start, Quiles accumulated four victories, but was unable to fight for the championship title.
In 2023 he contested his third year in the European Talent Cup, this time as part of the Aspar Team Junior. Máximo Quiles took advantage of all the experience gained in previous years and completed a season in which he practically never finished off the podium to win his second title in the category. Quiles combined the calendar with the Red Bull Rookies Cup, where he finished in the Top 3 in both 2022 and 2023.
This past season has been a great year for Maximo Quiles, who has become one of the most competitive riders in JuniorGP and the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup. With five podiums and a third place with the Aspar Team Junior, and an equally competitive season in the Rookies Cup (fifth with six podiums), Quiles set his sights on making the jump to the Moto3 World Championship.
In 2025 the Spanish rider will become a full-time World Championship rider with the CFMOTO Aspar Team.
