▶ Biography

Máximo Quiles started racing motorbikes when he was just six years old in the Murcia Mini Speed Championship, making the leap to the national level in 2017 and winning his first titles in lower categories, as the minimoto Spanish Championship or the Cuna de Campeones championship.

After his passage through numerous national categories, in 2021 Máximo Quiles made the leap to the European Talent Cup at the age of 13. The rider from Murcia showed his talent and, after a great final stretch of the season where he got three consecutive victories (in addition to the two previous podiums), he became Champion in his debut year. In 2022, after a somewhat irregular start, Quiles accumulated four victories, but was unable to fight for the championship title.

In 2023 he contested his third year in the European Talent Cup, this time as part of the Aspar Team Junior. Máximo Quiles took advantage of all the experience gained in previous years and completed a season in which he practically never finished off the podium to win his second title in the category. Quiles combined the calendar with the Red Bull Rookies Cup, where he finished in the Top 3 in both 2022 and 2023.

This past season has been a great year for Maximo Quiles, who has become one of the most competitive riders in JuniorGP and the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup. With five podiums and a third place with the Aspar Team Junior, and an equally competitive season in the Rookies Cup (fifth with six podiums), Quiles set his sights on making the jump to the Moto3 World Championship.

In 2025, Máximo Quiles made the leap to the Moto3 World Championship with the CFMOTO Aspar Team. After reaching the minimum age requirement, he made his debut at the Grand Prix of the Americas, where he immediately attracted attention by qualifying on the front row of the grid and finishing fifth in his first full race of the season. Throughout the year, the young rider established himself as one of the rivals to be reckoned with in the lightweight category. Despite his limited experience, Quiles only needed three races to reach the podium for the first time, in Great Britain. Just two races later, in Italy, he achieved his first world championship victory. His constant progress, coupled with his competitiveness against much more experienced riders, has allowed him to fight for the top positions on numerous occasions. With four fewer races than his rivals, the CFMOTO Aspar Team rider has managed to score nine podium finishes, including three victories. These figures have made him the best Moto3 rookie, and he fought for the runner-up spot until the last race of the season.

In 2026, Quiles will continue with the CFMOTO Aspar Team to keep growing in the Moto3 category and keep fighting for new successes together.
