Dennis Foggia is one of the most experienced riders in the World Championship. The Italian achieved his first good results both in Italy and Spain at an early age, including runner-up in the Italian Minimoto Championship, runner-up in MiniGP 50 and Spanish Champion in 80cc.
Foggia made his debut in the Moto3 Junior World Championship in 2016, at the same time as competing in the Italian Championship. After taking his first podiums, Dennis went all out in 2017 and barely finished off the podium, including four victories. These results helped him to become Moto3 Junior World Champion in the same year and he made his Moto3 World Championship debut as a wildcard at the Czech Grand Prix. He also competed in two more races, scoring points in all of them.
In 2018 Foggia became a permanent Moto3 World Championship rider and took his first World Championship podium with third place in Thailand. In 2019 he continued to grow and added more podiums to his tally, but it wasn't until 2020 that he took in Brno his long-awaited first win and his first overall top 10 finish at the end of the season.
In 2021 Dennis went from strength to strength and fought for the first time to become Moto3 champion, exhausting all his options until the penultimate round in Portugal. His 10 podiums and five victories were enough for him to be runner-up this season, and to start 2022 as one of the main favourites in the category. After starting the year with three consecutive podiums, Foggia did not return to the top three until after the first half of the championship. With eight podiums and four victories to his name, Foggia was third overall, just behind both Aspar Team riders, Izan Guevara and Sergio García Dols
Dennis made the jump to Moto2 in 2023 and has spent the last two years in the intermediate class, where he has finished in the points on several occasions, with a sixth-place finish as his best race result.
For 2025, Foggia joins the CFMOTO Aspar Team and returns to Moto3 in an ambitious project.
