The CFMOTO XXXXX Aspar Team riders return to MotorLand Aragon in search of great results again
Máximo Quiles and Dennis Foggia face a new week of racing in the 2025 Moto3 season. After a weekend that showed both sides of the coin for the team, with Quiles on the podium and Foggia retiring due to a mechanical problem, the CFMOTO XxxX Aspar Team riders arrive at MotorLand Aragon eager to fight for the top again. In the last UK Grand Prix, Máximo Quiles stood up to the more experienced riders and showed a great level in his third race in the World Championship. Despite being an unfamiliar circuit for him, Quiles achieved his first podium finishing in second place after battling with Moto3 leader José Antonio Rueda. With this result Quiles now occupies the tenth position in the overall standings with 40 points and reduces the gap in the fight for the best rookie of the year title. The next round at Aragón will be a new opportunity for the Spaniard to continue improving in his first year in the category and he will take advantage of the experience at the Aragón circuit to get back to the front of the field.
Dennis Foggia had a bitter end at Silverstone. The Italianrider had high hopes for a good performance at the UK Grand Prix. However, a technical problem prevented him from getting past the first lap. For this weekend the CFMOTO XXXXX Aspar Team rider wants to turn the situation around and get back to fighting for the front positions. Foggia knows the MotorLand Aragón circuit well: there he won in 2021 and was third in 2019. The Italian sits in 12th position in the standings, with 32 points. At the top of the standings, José Antonio Rueda is already more than 50 points ahead of second-placed Ángel Piqueras, who crashed out on the last lap in the UK. Australian Joel Kelso, third in the overall standings, also failed to finish the race at Silverstone.
Máximo Quiles: “It's a circuit that I really like and where I have very good memories from when I competed in lower categories. After the good result at Silverstone, we want to keep working to improve and learn more every day. I'm really looking forward to the race and focused on enjoying myself, without any pressure. If I find myself at the front like I did in the last race, I will try to fight and get a good result. I have to see how I feel during the weekend and refine my goals: I want to improve some details to make a difference with my riding.”
Dennis Foggia: “Aragon is a circuit that I like a lot, I won there in Moto3, also I won there the JuniorGP... I have very good memories there. After what happened at Silverstone I arrive with a good attitude and we will work to be at the front again.”
