Máximo Quiles and Dennis Foggia want to continue their progress after the good feelings obtained at the French Grand Prix
The CFMOTO Valresa Aspar Team riders are looking forward to further progress at the British Grand Prix. Máximo Quiles confirmed his improvement after the injury suffered before the Grand Prix of Qatar and showed a great level in Le Mans, where he got his first pole position and finished the race in seventh. The Spaniard is ready to continue learning in every session and keep progressing in the category. Quiles has also been the first rider in Moto3 to take first place on the grid in just two races in the world championship, and despite having competed in two thirds of the races less than his rivals, he already occupies second position in the fight for the rookie of the year title. His team-mate Dennis Foggia completed one of his strongest weekends of the season and, although his eleventh-place finish did not do justice to the work he put in, he showed great pace in a difficult race. Foggia knows what it's like to win at Silverstone (he was on the top step of the podium in his last Moto3 race in 2022), so this weekend he wants to take another step towards getting as close as possible to the front positions.
José Antonio Rueda remains the Moto3 leader after extending his lead to 29 points thanks to his victory at Le Mans and the crash of Ángel Piqueras, second in the standings. Joel Kelso continues to be one of the riders to beat in Moto3 and lays in third position. Dennis Foggia is eleventh with 32 points, while Máximo Quiles is fourteenth with 20 points.
Dennis Foggia: “In my last race in Silverstone in Moto3 I won, so it's a very special circuit for me. It brings back good memories so I'm looking forward to coming there and working with the team. At Le Mans we had a good feeling, and we were fast, although the result in the race doesn’t show this progress.”
Máximo Quiles: “We will continue working as we have been doing so far: going step by step, learning and enjoying the bike. In Le Mans we gained a lot of experience and we had a good weekend, even taking pole position. I hope to be fighting for the front positions like last weekend.”
