Dennis Foggia and Jakob Rosenthaler want to go one step further after the good feelings in Thailand
The Moto3 World Championship returns to Termas de Río Hondo in Argentina after two years of absence. The CFMOTO Gaviota Aspar Team faces the second round of the calendar with a lot of motivation after the work done in the Grand Prix of Thailand, in which both riders showed a great version and completed a solid race despite the harsh temperature conditions. Dennis Foggia is confident of doing well in Argentina after finishing a strong sixth on his return to Moto3 and is hoping to fight for the podium at a circuit where he finished second in 2022. The Italian rider will take advantage of his previous experience, as many of the riders in the category have not yet ridden at the Argentinean track. As for the overall standings, José Antonio Rueda arrives in Argentina as leader after a comprehensive victory in Buriram, where his teammate Álvaro Carpe was second and Adrián Fernández was third.
On the other hand, Jakob Rosenthaler will contest his second and last race with the CFMOTO Gaviota Aspar Team replacing Máximo Quiles. The Austrian rider was not rewarded for his work in the race in Thailand, after he crashed out on the last lap due to an incident with another rider when he was in the points. Rosenthaler arrives again at an unfamiliar circuit, but he is confident of continuing to improve and of doing well in Argentina.
Dennis Foggia: “In Thailand I enjoyed a lot and I felt very comfortable after all the work we are doing. I think we can have a good result in Argentina. It's a circuit that I really like and where we have experience, so we will take advantage of that to do well.”
Jakob Rosenthaler: “This weekend we have a new opportunity in Argentina. It's a circuit I don't know, but I'm very confident for the next race. Although the result in Thailand was not what we expected, we did a good job and we were fast, so I want to get a good result with the team and score my first points in the championship.”
