JEREZ TEST

CFMOTO Aspar Team riders end pre-season in Jerez with another step forward

Máximo Quiles and Dennis Foggia continue to improve their adaptation to the small category ahead of the first race of the year

The 2025 preseason has come to an end for the CFMOTO Aspar Team. Quiles and Foggia are facing the last days before the start of the championship. Both riders have given their best to adapt as well as possible, accumulating more than 300 laps and improving every day to get closer to the reference times set by José Antonio Rueda, Joel Kelso and Adrián Fernández.

Máximo Quiles has been very consistent throughout these three days, although this Thursday he faced a somewhat more complicated day. This has not prevented the Spanish rider from continuing to improve and take steps forward to arrive in top form for his first Moto3 race at the Grand Prix of the Americas at the end of March. The CFMOTO Aspar Team rider clocked a total of 52 laps today (150 accumulated over the course of the test), finishing fourteenth in the combined times thanks to his 1:44.587. Dennis Foggia is working hard to adapt to the Moto3 bike, something which has been reflected in these days of official testing, in which he has lapped 154 laps. On the final day of the test the Italian focused on working on his set-up to further improve his riding feeling. After 51 laps, his 1:44.840 this morning placed him eighteenth in the combined times.

14th Máximo Quiles 1:44.587 (+1.230, 52 laps): "We've had three good days: the first and second were very positive and gave us a good feeling, while the third was more complicated. The good thing is that we have a lot of information and we've learned a lot. Overall, I'm happy... and looking forward to going to the Americas GP!"

18th Dennis Foggia 1:44.840 (+1.483, 51 laps): "It has been a quite positive test, we started far away but little by little we have built a good set-up. The final position is not the one I like the most, but after two years with another bike it is not easy to adapt again to Moto3. The team and I are getting to know each other and little by little the bike is getting closer to my style. I'm quite happy, not super happy, but my feeling is good."
