The CFMOTO Inde Aspar Team rider has finished just two tenths off the fastest
CFMOTO Inde Aspar Team rider Jake Dixon has been one of the fastest in the first day of the Barcelona GP, the last GP of the season. The Circuit de Barcelona - Catalunya is a track that suits the British riding style and he has proved it today. Despite the conditions being pretty different to those in May, when the Catalan GrP was held, Dixon has been once again among the fastest, as he did in that race. The CFMOTO Inde Aspar Team rider has finished the first practice in sixth position, more than eight tenths off the best time that has set Aron Canet. In the second session, he has improved his time noticeably and has climbed up to second place. Dixon has set a time of 1:42.657, reducing to two tenths the gap to Canet, who has been the fastest again. The British is confident in his potential for this weekend and tomorrow he will fight to return to the front row of the grid, a position where he has not been since the Japanese GP.
On the other side of the box, Izan Guevara has finished the first day in Barcelona with the eighteenth best time. The Spanish has not felt comfortable on the bike and has struggled to be competitive at the Circuit de Barcelona – Catalunya. Despite this, he has ended less than two tenths off from being in the provisional Q2 positions. Tomorrow, in the final practice session, Guevara will try to reduce that gap to go straight into Q2 and fight for a good grid position in his last GP with the CFMOTO Inde Aspar Team.
Valencia and its citizens are experiencing one of the most challenging moments in recent history. The surrounding areas of the city are facing a severe climate emergency due to intense rainfall and flash floods. Thousands of families have lost their homes, businesses, and access to basic services like drinking water, electricity, and safe shelter. At Aspar Team, in collaboration with GoFundMe, we have launched this campaign to support those affected, providing immediate aid and hope to those most in need. Every donation is backed by our guarantee, ensuring that funds go directly to those impacted by this crisis.

2nd Jake Dixon 1:42.657 (+0.231): “Day one has been good. Hopefully, I will feel better tomorrow, because today I fell a bit ill. The bike is good. Is the last weekend with the team so let’s enjoy as much as we can. I will try to give them something special to say goodbye”.
18th Izan Guevara 1:43.630 (+1.204): “It has been a strange first day. We are fast, but we can’t get the bike in place. I do not have any traction. We lose a lot on the exit of the corners. We have to improve tomorrow.”
