Guevara says goodbye to CFMOTO Inde Aspar with a seventh position

The CFMOTO Inde Aspar Team rider has made a great comeback at the Circuit de Barcelona – Catalunya

Aron Canet has won the last GP of the season. The Spanish has been the strongest throughout the weekend and, after dominating all the practice sessions and getting pole position, he has achieved victory at the Circuit de Barcelona – Catalunya. Despite having gone down to eighth position at the start, it has only taken him two laps to get back into first place and open a gap at the front. Manu González, who has from  second, has gradually reduced the gap, but it has not been enough to catch him and he has crossed the finish line 91 thousandths behind Canet. The fight for the last podium position has been much closer. World champion Ai Ogura and Diogo Moreira have engaged in an intense battle, with Moreira winning by just 43 thousandths.

CFMOTO Inde Aspar Team rider Izan Guevara has finished seventh in the final GP of the year. The Spanish, who has started from twenty-third place on the grid, has made a great comeback at the Circuit de Barcelona – Catalunya to bid farewell to the team. Guevara has been very competitive at the start and was already in fourteenth place on the first lap. As the laps have gone by, he has gradually regained positions until he has reached seventh place. His teammate Jake Dixon has been unable to finish his last race with the CFMOTO Inde Aspar Team on track. The British has started fourth on the grid and has made a great start to get into podium positions. However, he has made a mistake on the first lap and has dropped many positions. Dixon has fought to get back to say goodbye to the CFMOTO Inde Aspar Team in the best possible way, but he has crashed after an incident with another rider.

Valencia and its citizens are experiencing one of the most challenging moments in recent history. The surrounding areas of the city are facing a severe climate emergency due to intense rainfall and flash floods. Thousands of families have lost their homes, businesses, and access to basic services like drinking water, electricity, and safe shelter. At Aspar Team, in collaboration with GoFundMe, we have launched this campaign to support those affected, providing immediate aid and hope to those most in need. Every donation is backed by our guarantee, ensuring that funds go directly to those impacted by this crisis.

7th Izan Guevara (+5.647): “I am very happy with the five years I have spent with the Aspar Team. We have had some great moments and some not so good ones, but we have fought until the end and we have not thrown in the towel at any time. I am satisfied with today's result. It has been a difficult race because we have started from the back. I didn't want to say goodbye in twentieth position, I wanted to finish in front. I have made up sixteen positions and it has been incredible. I want to thank my team for being there from the beginning, I wish them the best for the future.”

Jake Dixon (crash): “It is a shame to finish the way we have finished. We were doing a very good weekend until that point. It has been unfortunate, but these things happen. I want to give massive thanks to the team for their hard work this season.”
