The British rider will start the German Grand Prix from third place. His teammate Izan Guevara will begin the race from 27th
Pedro Acosta has taken his second pole position in the Moto2 category today. The Spanish rider has always been on the front two rows of the grid this season, but the pole position never came his way. However, today, Acosta has set the fastest time of the weekend and will start the German Grand Prix from pole position. His main rival for the title, Tony Arbolino, will start just behind him, so both riders expect to have a good fight for the win, with Polarcube GASGAS Aspar rider Jake Dixon, who has finished third in the qualifying practice, looking forward to join them in the battle.
Jake Dixon will start from the front row of the grid at Sachsenring after setting the third fastest time in the qualifying at the last moment. Dixon is back on the front row, where he had already been at the Spanish Grand Prix, with the idea of competing with the two riders who lead the overall standings, Arbolino and Acosta. The British will try to improve at the start to catch up with his rivals and reach the end of the race with chances of victory. His Polarcube GASGAS Aspar teammate Izan Guevara keeps on working on the set-up of his bike to get a better feeling to fight for bigger challenges. Guevara will start the German Grand Prix from 27th position.
3rd Jake Dixon 1:24.158: “We were going at the limit, but if we can make some small changes for tomorrow, especially with the rear grip, we can have a good race and fight with the front riders, Acosta and Arbolino.”
27th Izan Guevara 1:25.911: “It's been very difficult. We still have not found a base to work on. We have to keep our heads up and fight to find solutions.”
