The CFMOTO Inde Aspar riders want to continue gaining experience in the second round of the year
The CFMOTO Inde Aspar Team is already fully focused on the next round of the championship. The season opener in Thailand ended with Manu González leading the Moto2 standings after his second win in the intermediate category. Although it is still too early to draw conclusions, the first Grand Prix of the year has already made clear the equality between the riders in the intermediate category. After two years of absence, the Argentine Grand Prix has finally returned to the calendar and will be a new challenge for many of the competitors, as many of them have not yet ridden at the Autódromo de Termas de Río Hondo with the Moto2. This is the case of Dani Holgado who, after his promising start in Buriram with an eighth position, arrives in Argentina eager to continue learning. The CFMOTO Inde Aspar Team rider was the best rookie and wants to continue in this upward trend and score new points. Holgado has finished in the top ten on the two previous visits to Termas de Río Hondo, so this time he is confident of another good result.
David Alonso faced a difficult weekend in Thailand. The Colombian rider did not have the best feeling in his first Grand Prix in the intermediate category and finished the race in twenty-first position. Alonso arrives in Argentina with a positive mentality and with clear objectives for this weekend. Team and rider are united and focused on working together to make further steps forward in 2025.
Dani Holgado: “The objective in Argentina will be the same as in Thailand: to enjoy, to learn and to keep moving forward. This is an endurance test and the result of the last race was magnificent. We must continue like this, working behind the big guys, learning from them and putting it into practice in the following races to score more points and learn more”.
David Alonso: “As in Thailand, in Argentina I also have to finish the race. This week I have used the time at home to put into practice everything I saw that I had to improve. I want to focus a lot on how to stop the bike, which was what I couldn't do in the race in Thailand, the aspect where I saw more differences”.
