The Italian returns to the lightweight category, where he has 10 wins and 23 podiums
The CFMOTO Aspar Team will fight with Dennis Foggia to retain the Moto3 title. The Valencian team, which has achieved the triple crown in 2024, will have in its ranks in 2025 a rider with great experience in the lightweight category to try to repeat the feat. Foggia will join therefore Máximo Quiles and completes the CFMOTO Aspar Team line-up in Moto3.
Foggia has a long track record in Moto3. In his first stage in the category, the Italian achieved a total of twenty-three podiums, ten of them victories. His best season was 2021, the year in which he was runner-up after winning five races. In 2022, his last campaign before making the jump to Moto2, he was again among the best and finished in third position in the standings, only behind the two Aspar Team riders, Izan Guevara and Sergio García. Foggia is now returning to Moto3 with the clear objective of fighting for the title with the CFMOTO Aspar Team. The Italian will make his debut with the team next Thursday, in the two-day test that will take place at the Jerez – Ángel Nieto circuit.
Dennis Foggia: “I am very happy to be part of this great team. I am taking a step back to take two steps forward. It is a great opportunity for me. Next year I will fight to become world champion and I am sure that the whole team will help me achieve this. I am very happy, I am looking forward to getting on the bike next Thursday in Jerez.”
Jorge Martínez “Aspar”: “We have completed an incredible year in Moto3 with CFMOTO and in 2025 we want to continue in the same vein. That is why we welcome Dennis Foggia today. He was a great rival in 2021 and 2022, and we know that, together, we can achieve everything we set out to do if we work from the start. The goal will be to defend the three titles. It won't be easy, but we will try with all our strength.”
