The CFMOTO Inde Aspar Team heads into the Czech Grand Prix with its two riders separated by five points

Dani Holgado and David Alonso are entering the final stretch of the first half of the season. The CFMOTO Inde Aspar Team riders had one of their most consistent weekends at Balaton Park and, after a week’s break, both are determined to stay at the top of the standings in the final three races before the summer break. The Brno circuit will be the first stop where they will once again test their skills, on a track where both riders demonstrated their potential in 2025.

The Hungarian round left the CFMOTO Inde Aspar Team feeling very positive: Alonso’s fourth place and Holgado’s fifth allowed the team to wrap up one of their most competitive weekends of the season. Thanks to these results, Holgado sits fifth in the overall standings, with Alonso hot on his heels in sixth place. The main objective for the weekend will be to maintain this positive momentum in a bid to return to the podium. The Spaniard secured his last podium finish at the Italian Grand Prix, whilst Alonso has yet to finish in the top three this 2026 season. The Colombian has come close on several occasions and has finished in the top five in five of the eight races contested so far. This will be the second time at Brno for the CFMOTO Inde Aspar Team riders, following the circuit’s return to the world championship calendar in 2025. On that occasion, Holgado narrowly missed out on the podium with a solid fourth place, whilst Alonso staged an impressive comeback to finish in the top 10. The Czech round presents a fresh opportunity to build on the foundations laid in the first third of the season and turn the positive momentum of recent weeks into strong results.

The overall standings in the intermediate category remain unchanged at the top. Manu González has strung together three consecutive victories and his lead over second-placed Izan Guevara now stands at 49.5 points. Celestino Vietti is third, three points behind Guevara. Outside the top three, Senna Agius is fourth with 94 points, Holgado is fifth with 76 points and Alonso is sixth with 71 points.

Dani Holgado: “Brno was a circuit I really liked last year, because I hadn’t raced there before. I was able to be quite competitive, but this year it’s a different story. It’s important to stay focused and be very consistent to stay in the top five. My aim is to keep building with the team and be a bit faster. If we take it step by step and stay focused on our work, we’ll get there.”

David Alonso: “We’re heading to the Brno circuit, a track that’s completely different from Hungary. It’s quite a long circuit, so we can’t afford to waste a single lap. What’s more, last year was the first time I raced there, so I haven’t done many laps on this track and I’ll need all the information I can gather. We have to try to be as competitive as possible with the new tyre, which is where we have the most room for improvement, and that’s what can help us most in the race.”
